USB card reader v2 overview

The Dispatcher Paragon USB Card Reader v2 can be connected simply to a multi-functional device (MFD) and serves for user authentication using a card. The card must be assigned to a user in the Dispatcher Paragon system. After successful authentication the user can use the device and perform his/her print, copy or scan jobs (depending on the device). The Dispatcher Paragon USB Card Reader v2 can also be connected to workstations and used with Dispatcher Paragon Payment System cash desk application or with the Dispatcher Paragon client for authentication.

The Dispatcher Paragon USB Card Reader v2 has the following characteristics:

• Connection and power supply of the card reader via the USB host interface.

• Compatibility with some other MFD applications.
