General overview
- This feature is currently available only under Early Access Program, and therefore requires a special license.
- Available only with Dispatcher Paragon Terminal Application - 2nd Gen.
Quick actions application enables users to access frequently used functions like print all jobs, copy and perform the desired scan workflow immediately after login.
Enabling and Installation of Quick actions application
Set the allowQuickActionsApplication to Enabled and restart required subsystems.
Administrator can also specified name of Quick actions application. Default value:
SafeQ Quick actions.
Allow Quick actions feature in the device configuration page and (re)install the terminal.
Quick actions application
- Log in to the embedded terminal. Quick actions application is displayed.
Select a quick actions you want to execute. Some of the quick actions are marked as Instant (flash icon) and are executed directly. Quick actions are displayed according user rights and only first 3 scan workflows (based on the order from workflow configuration) assigned to user are visible.
Print all
- Tap on the Print all button to perform the print of all jobs in waiting queue. Note that the number on the button indicates the number of jobs in waiting queue. There is also information about total price of jobs. When there are no jobs in the folder, you will see disabled print all button.
My print jobs
- Tapping on the My print jobs opens Print application.
Copy
- Tap on Copy button.
- Select the number of copies by entering the number on the keypad, and select the copy settings by tapping the available options. Then press the Start button on the device panel to start copying.
My scan workflows
- Tapping on the My print jobs opens Scan application.
Scan - Instant workflow
- Tap on instant workflow button, selected workflow is executed directly from the Quick actions application.
Scan workflow (input required)
- Tap on scan workflow which need additional parameters to be entered. You are redirected to a workflow detail screen.
In workflow detail screen, you can enter additional workflow parameters.
Tapping Scan settings tab opens a screen where you can select properties of the scan job.
The workflow configuration might not allow to configure scan or workflow settings. In that case, the tab is not shown.
When you are ready, tap the Scan button to initialize the scan job. User is redirected to Quick actions application when scan is finished.
Requirements and limitations
- Enabling of allowQuickActionsApplication needs reinstallation of the Sharp 2nd Gen terminal.
- When you want to disable allowQuickActionsApplication, you need to uninstall all terminals with Quick actions application and then disable the property.
