  • New! Open Bee Connector
    Dispatcher Phoenix now includes a direct connector to Open Bee, a customizable Document Management Service. The Open Bee Connector allows users to configure a Filing Rule, Document Description, folder path, and more so that documents can be automatically distributed to an Open Bee server without additional user intervention. The Open Bee Connector also comes with two pre-built index forms, one for Service Accounts and one for User Accounts, which allow users to scan and distribute documents to an Open Bee server. Users can specify Filing Rule information, update the Document Description, and even select a Folder Path at the MFP panel at the time of scanning.

    The Open Bee Connector is included in all Dispatcher Phoenix licenses.

    Please note that the Open Bee Connector will also integrate with Konica Minolta KOMIDoc.

  • New! iManage Connector Node
    The new iManage Connector node allows customers to seamlessly connect to iManage, a secure knowledge platform used by professionals across the globe. The new iManage Connector allows users to automatically send documents to a selected iManage folder for long-term archiving, along with class, subclass, and comment information. In addition, the node takes full advantage of iManage’s versioning and document protection capabilities, allowing users to automatically lock documents and even declare them as Records. The iManage Connector supports user-based scanning and indexing at the MFP panel.

    The iManage Connector is available as part of the Legal Vertical Market Package and as an add-on to Dispatcher Phoenix.

  • New! FHIR Generator Node
    The new FHIR Generator node allows customers in the healthcare vertical market to generate a Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)-compatible XML file.   • New! Microsoft Teams In Node
    In order to continue expanding our integrations with popular third-party services, Konica Minolta has introduced a new collection node that directly connects to Microsoft Teams. Organizations can now capture document attachments and message metadata directly from Microsoft Teams and use them in Dispatcher Phoenix workflows. Users can filter messages and attachments in a variety of ways to ensure the only specific documents enter the workflow. The Microsoft Teams In node is available to all Dispatcher Phoenix customers.

  • New! Microsoft Teams Connector Node
    Konica Minolta has also introduced a new direct connector that automatically distributes documents to Microsoft Teams. Organizations can take documents that have been processed in a Dispatcher Phoenix workflow and post them to Microsoft Teams; users can even customize the message that appears along with the file attachment. The node comes with a pre-built Index Form for easy use at the MFP. The Microsoft Teams Connector is available to all Dispatcher Phoenix customers.

    Dispatcher Phoenix’s Batch Manager now includes an updated search and filter function. This feature enables users who process many batches to filter for specific criteria in Batch Manager and find relevant results instantly. In addition, improvements were made to optimize application response times and speed batch loading times for power users and enterprise customers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • New! Batch Indexing Improvements
    Dispatcher Phoenix’s Batch Indexing is now easier to use than ever before! Workflows using the Forms Processing and/or Advanced OCR nodes can be configured to highlight values in the Batch Indexing preview to make data verification a breeze. Now during Batch Indexing operations, each value extracted will be highlighted in a color that corresponds to the OCR zone in the document preview. In addition, documents can now be rotated within the Batch Indexing preview to ensure optimal orientation for document indexing.

  • Addressed an issue with Batch Indexing that was causing the app to freeze when attempting to access a batch with no documents.

  • New! Workflow Search Feature
    Dispatcher Phoenix now includes a powerful workflow search feature. With several options to filter workflows, the search function allows organizations with large numbers of workflows to quickly find a workflow or workflow group in their workflow list.

  • New! Custom Per-Page Backgrounds
    Dispatcher Phoenix workflows are now even more customizable, with the ability to configure separate background images on each page. This allows for precise branding and customization of multi-page workflows.

  • New! Product Selector for NFR Licenses
    Dispatcher Phoenix NFR licenses now include a product selector. This allows NFR users to switch between different configurations of Dispatcher Phoenix in just seconds. This empowers sales representatives to quickly and easily demonstrate different vertical market options to potential customers.

  • Addressed an issue that was causing zones created by the Redact node to be slightly larger than expected.

CAC/PIV Card Authentication Enhancements Dispatcher Phoenix’s CAC/PIV Card Authentication capabilities have been upgraded to better support government organizations that operate under strict information security guidelines. Users working in many different highly secure organizations can now login to Dispatcher Phoenix Web using their CAC/PIV smart cards.

  • New! RightFax Connector Features
    To allow users even more control over fax workflows, the RightFax Connector has been upgraded with several useful features. Users can now:

    • Select a preconfigured cover page to include with faxes.
    • Select a fax Billing Code to include with faxes.
    • Send faxes to multiple recipients at the same time.
    • Send faxes as other users (Admin only) or as a guest.
    • Include a note along with faxes.

    In addition, Dispatcher Phoenix Web has been improved with new, advanced reporting for RightFax.

  • Addressed an issue that was causing the Email In node to not process certain documents after a workflow resumed a scheduled operation.

  • Updated Dispatcher Phoenix to better allow the OmniPage OCR engine to automatically detect page orientation and rotate documents.

    Easy to configure and arrange to meet your business needs, the new multi-LDAP connection user experience allows administrators to streamline the integration of multiple Active Directories. This update also includes improvements to LDAP Data Source configuration for intelligent access through index forms.

  • New! UPDATED Tesseract Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Engine
    The Tesseract Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine within Dispatcher Phoenix has been upgraded to version 5.3. There are numerous updates and bug fixes that improve the overall performance and stability of the Tesseract OCR engine. The following nodes are affected:

    • Advanced OCR
    • Convert to PDF
    • Forms Processing
  • The aiDocuDroid OCR & ICR capabilities have been deprecated and will no longer be available. Workflows that currently use aiDocuDroid will need to be updated to use one of the other available OCR engines.

  • Updated the 2D Barcode node to better preview and test PDF 417 barcodes.

  • Addressed an issue that was causing an error when registering Dispatcher Phoenix on the C3321i and C4001i devices.

  • Updated the Advanced OCR node to better process short character strings and small font sizes when using the OmniPage OCR engine to scan Japanese characters.

    Dispatcher Phoenix’s aiDocuDroid OCR engine has been updated to include additional languages. In addition to English, Japanese, German, and French, aiDocuDroid now supports Spanish and Italian! These new languages are available for download from within the OCR Settings page.

  • New! Upgraded .NET Desktop Runtime & ASP.NET Core Runtime to 8.0.7Installation
    The Dispatcher Phoenix Installer has been upgraded to include the newest version of Microsoft’s .NET Desktop Runtime and ASP.NET Core Runtime. This automatic download is included in every Dispatcher Phoenix installation and will help maintain the product’s standard of security and reliability.

  • New! Dispatcher Stratus Connector Node
    Dispatcher Phoenix now directly connects to Dispatcher Stratus with the new Dispatcher Stratus Connector node! Not only does this new node allow on-premise installations to communicate directly to the cloud, administrators can provide users with additional flexibility to interact with documents and data processed through Dispatcher Phoenix in Dispatcher Stratus’ online portal. This new node corresponds to a similar node in Dispatcher Stratus that allows for seamless communication between the two solutions.

    The Dispatcher Stratus Connector is available as a free addition to your existing license.

  • New! Dispatcher Stratus In Node
    Dispatcher Phoenix can now accept documents directly from Dispatcher Stratus! This allows for a seamless integration between Dispatcher Stratus’ unique people-based workflow capabilities and collaboration tools and Dispatcher Phoenix’s advanced workflow automation. This new node correspondsto a similar node in Dispatcher Stratus that allows for seamless communication between the two solutions.

    The Dispatcher Stratus In node is available as a free addition to your existing license.

  • New! Dispatcher Suite Release
    This release includes the new global software release of Dispatcher Paragon Build 94 for Dispatcher Suite.

  • New! Updated Barcode Sample Workflows
    To further expand on the addition of the ZXing barcode engine and the updates to the 1D and 2D Barcode Processing nodes, Konica Minolta is expanding the barcode sample workflows to highlight these new features. Updated workflows include:
    • Split Credit Application
    • Split Rename Using Barcodes
    • Identify Patient Records Via Barcodes
    • These workflows are available for download from the SEC website.
  • Addressed an issue with the Dropbox Connector when it is configured to use proxy.
  • Addressed an issue with using the Dropbox Connector’s folder search feature at the MFP.

  • New! Barcode Engine!
    The Barcode Processing and 2D Barcode Processing nodes have been upgraded to support the ZXing barcode engine! This expands Dispatcher Phoenix’s library of available 1D and 2D barcodes, so your organization can extract information from a wide variety of barcodes. In addition, the Barcode Processing and 2D Barcode Processing nodes are now available as part of the Dispatcher Phoenix base license. The OmniPage barcode engine is still available as an add-on for customers requiring additional barcode processing capabilities.

  • New! Updated OAuth Security for Google Mail
    To further secure accounts, Google will require authentication of all third-party applications connected to Google Mail every six (6) months, including Dispatcher Phoenix, beginning on June 1, 2024. To support these upcoming changes, Dispatcher Phoenix’s OAuth capabilities have been updated with new notifications that will inform customers of any impending disconnections so they can be reauthorized without affecting services.

  • New! Upland InterFAX Collection Node
    A new collection node, the Upland InterFAX In node, has been introduced to allow users to filter and capture faxes from their Upland InterFAX account and process them through a Dispatcher Phoenix workflow. This new collection node complements the existing Upland InterFAX Connector node that allows users to configure fax output from a Dispatcher Phoenix workflow. These two nodes are available as a bundle for purchase as an add-in module.

  • New! Customization Feature for Workflow Icon
    The Dispatcher Phoenix Workflow Builder has been updated with a new Workflow Button Icon setting that allows users to customize the workflow icon shown at the MFP for scan workflow. Users can choose to upload their own image and create a more unique and intuitive experience for MFP Panel users.

  • New! Support for French and German in aiDocuDroid
    The aiDocuDroid OCR engine has been updated to support both the French and German languages! In the Advanced OCR and Forms Processing nodes, users will now have the option to adjust the language settings to support data extraction in English, French, German and Japanese.

    The Metadata to File node has been updated to allow it to save files using base64 encoding. This allows for a wide range of applications, including healthcare communications using HL7.

  • Addressed an issue with the Advanced OCR node that was causing unexpected memory issues during processing.

  • New! Multi-Domain Support: MFP Panel Interactions and Index Form Datasource Lookups
    To better support customers, Dispatcher Phoenix has been upgraded to support multiple domains for several key areas. Dispatcher Phoenix now supports multi-domain lookups for the following areas:

    • Release2Me - Users on the primary domain can share print jobs to users on any configured domains.*
    • Dispatcher Phoenix Web - Users on the primary domain can share workflows and configure card/badge numbers for users on any configured domains.*
    • Index Form LDAP datasource lookups.
    • Login at the MFP - Authenticated MFP users can log into any domain configured in Dispatcher Phoenix.

    These updates allow Dispatcher Phoenix to query users across up to ten domains for important tasks, streamlining MFP workflows and reducing overhead costs for customers.

    *The primary domain refers to the domain of the system Dispatcher Phoenix is installed on. Secondary domains are any other domain configured in the Workflow Services Manager.

  • New! Updated Dispatcher Mobile App
    Konica Minolta is pleased to announce a complete overhaul of the Dispatcher Phoenix Mobile App. In addition to upgrading the app’s security and compatibility with various devices, these updates include a number of UI enhancements and usability upgrades. Workflows are available wherever you are with the Dispatcher Phoenix Mobile App. It can be downloaded from the Apple App store or the Google Play store.

  • New! Support for Dispatcher Phoenix Login using Microsoft and Microsoft Entra ID
    Dispatcher Phoenix now supports logging in with both Microsoft and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) accounts. This update allows users with Microsoft or Microsoft Entra ID accounts to:

    • Run workflows and workflow services.
    • Sign in to Dispatcher Phoenix with cloud-based Microsoft and Entra ID accounts.
    • Log in to Dispatcher Phoenix Web.
    • Log in to Dispatcher Phoenix at the MFP Panel.
    • Use Batch Indexing workflows that have been shared with them.
